Job summary

Westpac Bank in Sydney seeks a Senior Manager, Product Practice Standards and Adoption to translate standards into real practice across the bank. You will embed ways of working, remove adoption barriers and use evidence from practice to continuously improve standards, tools and practitioner experiences.

Partner with leaders and delivery teams to drive adoption, governance and continuous improvement, shaping how we work across Delivery Units.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of agile ways of working and product ownership.
• Ability to partner with stakeholders at multiple levels.
• Data-driven and growth mindset.
• Experience embedding standards and improving practitioner experience.
• Identify drivers of friction across standards, tooling, governance or adoption.

Responsibilities

• Lead standards adoption, paved roads, patterns and reusable capabilities.
• Coach leaders and practitioner communities to remove frictions.
• Participate in pilots and assess whether friction is caused by standards, capability, tooling, governance or adoption.
• Maintain a portfolio view of adoption maturity and drive improvements across practice areas.
