Job summary

Anduril Australia’s Dive-XL Platform team develops software for an autonomous undersea vehicle platform. The role focuses on defining and delivering software features for mission software, driving end-to-end ownership across engineering governance and stakeholder teams.

You will lead projects from concept to delivery, coordinating with platform engineering, maritime technology, and program teams while prioritising operator experience and real-world capability delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Extensive experience as Software Product Manager in one or more domains.
• Ability to own a software system: engage stakeholders, define requirements, manage roadmaps, coordinate teams, design, implement, sustain and evolve.
• Willingness to mentor junior team members and grow professionally.
• Experience leading user engagement and research studies.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Australian Government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Empathize with end-users and balance needs with constraints in a multi-stakeholder environment.
• Be the voice of the user for the lifecycle of un-crewed systems.
• Advocate for Software Product Management within the teams and mentor others.
• Be an expert on current and future product capabilities for your focus areas.
• Draft detailed written product requirements at multiple maturity levels.
• Contribute input on design and information architecture with cross-functional teams.
• Manage a 6–18 month roadmap for allocated projects.
• Coordinate roadmaps with other teams for reusable components across products.
• Lead and contribute to software engineering projects from definition to delivery.
• Navigate governance processes and present plans to stakeholders.
• Identify and manage programmatic and technical risks.
