Job summary

Anduril Industries is recruiting a Product Support Engineer to join the Dive-XL team. You will support the Extra Large Autonomous Undersea Vehicles fleet on a rotating roster, providing technical guidance, leading root cause investigations and directing changes across deployed vehicles.

You will work to reduce support demand via sparing strategy, reliability improvements, diagnostics tooling, and documentation. The role requires depth in engineering and the judgment to act with limited data.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in engineering on complex systems.
• Ability to root cause difficult faults from limited data.
• Hands-on experience with real hardware in field or test environments.
• Sound engineering judgement under time pressure.
• Strong coordination and ability to explain findings

Responsibilities

• Provide on-call engineering support to fielded AUVs on a rotating roster.
• Identify what happened from logs, telemetry and maintenance history.
• Lead root cause investigations and define workarounds.
• Chair disposition meetings and manage fleet limitations.
• Turn data into engineering requirements and drive changes.
• Develop monitoring, alerting, and diagnostic tooling.
• Author service bulletins and track fleet-wide incorporation.
• Create operations, troubleshooting, and incident response publications.
• Govern the as-maintained configuration and SBOM.
