Job summary

Community First Bank, one of Australia’s leading customer-owned banks, invites a Head of Product to shape the portfolio in a regulated environment. You will lead a team of two Product Managers and a Product Coordinator, driving strategy, pricing, and lifecycle management to deliver value for members.

You will partner with Customer Experience, Marketing and Distribution, ensure compliant product changes, and present cases to governance forums, balancing growth with member outcomes.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Finance or a related discipline.
• Senior-level product management or product leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial services regulation, compliance, risk and product governance.
• Postgraduate qualification in Business, Finance, Management or a related discipline.
• Experience within banking and financial services.
• Relevant professional qualifications in risk, governance, compliance or financial services.

Responsibilities

• Develop the Bank's product strategy aligned to corporate goals, risk appetite and customer needs.
• Lead the development and execution of a clear product roadmap across the portfolio.
• Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle from development to retirement.
• Ensure the portfolio remains competitive, sustainable and compliant with laws and expectations.
• Identify opportunities to simplify or enhance products based on market trends and feedback.
• Provide strategic product advice to the Executive Leadership Team and governance forums.

Education
