Opteon is seeking a senior Product Engineer within ANZ Engineering to own complex product initiatives across Australia and New Zealand platforms. You will lead with rapid, evidence-based learning and coach peers to adopt product operating models and AI-assisted development.

The role requires driving discovery, shaping roadmaps, and delivering robust solutions with measurable outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• 6+ years delivering software professionally at scale.
• Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Australia citizenship and NV1 security clearance eligibility.

Responsabilidades

• Own outcomes end to end for complex product problems with measurable business results.
• Design and implement across legacy and modern platforms with safe CI/CD releases.
• Lead discovery using user research, prototypes and technical spikes to inform decisions.
• Embed product thinking with hypothesis-driven delivery and outcome metrics.
• Coach Product Engineers and peers on discovery and technical craft; share reusable assets.
• Challenge the feature factory and propose outcome-based alternatives.
• Lead with AI and experiment with agentic coding tools to set safe standards.
