Job summary

Smart Communications seeks a Senior Product Designer to lead end-to-end design for SmartPATH within a distributed design group. You will shape enterprise workflows, contribute to the shared design system, and mentor peers, aligning craft with business outcomes.

You will collaborate with product and engineering teams across regulated industries, driving AI-enabled, data-driven experiences while maintaining accessibility and scalability at scale.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a product designer in B2B/enterprise SaaS.
• Strong craft across interaction design, IA, wireframes, prototyping and visual design.
• Experience designing AI-enabled or data-driven experiences with AI-assisted tools.
• User research and usability testing experience (qualitative & quantitative).
• Proficiency with design tools like Figma; strong understanding of design systems.
• Experience mentoring or leading other designers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to present to stakeholders and work across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Lead design for SmartPATH from discovery through delivery with product management and engineering.
• Collaborate across products and platform level, evolve the shared design system for consistency and scalability.
• Assess usability and experience improvements across the suite backed by research and testing.
• Tackle complex design challenges, multi-journey flows, accessibility, edge cases end-to-end.
• Translate ambiguous problems into clear, usable enterprise designs.
• Design AI-enabled and data-driven experiences and utilise AI-assisted design workflows.
• Mentor designers and support onboarding into tools, processes, and systems.
• Present design decisions to stakeholders and evangelise design thinking across the business.
• Contribute to sprint planning and agile delivery planning.
• Stay updated on industry trends and bring best practices to Smart Communications.
