Job summary

Sonder is seeking a Senior Product Designer to lead the member experience across our mobile-focused product. Report to the CPTO, you will take work from discovery through to shipped, polished product, collaborating closely with Product and Engineering.

Expect to own design across mobile and extend to other platforms, shaping systems and visual polish while exploring AI-enabled tools to sharpen workflows in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of senior or staff-level product design experience.
• Strong portfolio showing end-to-end design from discovery to shipped product.
• Design system experience and ability to extend/build components.
• Genuine curiosity about AI tools to sharpen design processes.
• Excellent design communication with engineers, PMs, and leadership.
• Ability to balance near-term delivery with longer-range vision.

Responsibilities

• Lead design across Sonder's member experience from discovery through shipped product.
• Collaborate daily with Product and Engineering teams.
• Champion mobile-first design with cross-device consistency.
• Develop and evolve design systems and guidelines.
• Present thinking effectively to diverse stakeholders.
