Chobani Australia is seeking a senior procurement leader to drive strategy across Dairy, Packaging and Indirects, building capability and leading a large portfolio. You will develop a high-performing team, execute major sourcing programs, and translate growth plans into supplier capacity and continuity.
This role reports to the Head of Supply Chain and offers a challenging, fast-paced environment with strong outcomes focus.
Every fridge tells a story. This one is ours – and it's getting bigger.
Chobani Australia was formed in 2011 following the acquisition of Gippsland Dairy, alongside the Chobani brand. Guided by our belief that food can be a force for good – and our purpose, Good Food For All – we make Chobani and Gippsland Dairy yoghurt in Dandenong South, focusing on food that's delicious, nutritious, natural and accessible.
We're building the next chapter of growth – investing in major site upgrades and new capability to meet demand and deliver on our aspiration: in every fridge, everywhere, every day.
Chobani is a place for people who like pace and ownership. We keep standards high, back people to stretch, and hire for attitude. If you set goals, deliver, learn fast and keep raising the bar, you'll feel right at home here.
As Chobani continues to grow, so does the complexity and importance of our supply base.
This role leads a significant and growing procurement portfolio, with responsibility for securing supply, building future capacity, improving supplier performance and ensuring the procurement function is ready to support the next stage of business growth. The portfolio includes some of the business's most critical and complex categories, including dairy, packaging and indirects.
Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, you'll lead a team across Dairy, Ingredients, Packaging and Indirects. While the function has established strong foundations, the opportunity is to build the next stage of capability, evolving procurement into a commercially driven category management function that anticipates risk, influences business decisions and creates long-term value.
For someone experienced in leading a large portfolio, building capability and influencing outcomes across an entire business, this is a rare opportunity to leave a lasting mark.
This role requires equal parts leadership and technical procurement expertise.
You'll bring proven experience leading procurement teams and large, complex direct and indirect procurement portfolios within FMCG, food manufacturing, consumer goods or a comparable manufacturing environment. Just as importantly, you'll have deep knowledge in category management, strategic sourcing, managing supplier risk, commercial negotiations and stakeholder influence.
Importantly, you'll be commercially strong, technically credible and comfortable operating at both a strategic and operational level. You'll know when to step into a negotiation, when to coach your team and when to challenge the status quo.
You'll be joining a team that's genuinely committed to making a positive impact on our communities, our people, and the planet.
You'll work in a modern, state-of-the-art facility and enjoy a range of great perks, including financial and lifestyle benefits, flexible working options, and 18 weeks' parental leave to support you and your family.
We also offer wellbeing support for your loved ones - plus a few extras to keep things fun, like barista-style coffee onsite and weekly yoghurt giveaways.
