Job summary

Chobani Australia is seeking a Demand Controller to own the short-term demand position across the 0–13 week horizon, aligning forecast integrity with available supply and inventory risk to support timely business decisions. You will be at the heart of Sales, Supply Planning, Customer Service and Operations in a fast-paced, high-ownership role at the Dandenong South site.

Requirements

The Opportunity As Demand Controller, you'll own Chobani's short-term demand position across the 0–13 week horizon, connecting customer demand, forecast integrity, available supply and inventory risk to support timely, informed business decisions.

This is a commercially minded planning role that sits at the centre of Sales, Supply Planning, Customer Service and Operations. With responsibility spanning Chobani's entire customer portfolio, you'll balance competing priorities, navigate trade-offs and help the business make some of its most important short-term supply and customer decisions.

This role suits someone who enjoys working through complexity, connecting disparate information and using sound judgement to determine what happens next.

You’ll spend your time connecting information across forecasts, inventory, customer orders, production plans and supply realities, then translating that information into decisions, recommendations and actions.

In this role you will:

• Own short-term forecast integrity and Forecast Change Requests across the 0–13 week horizon
• Manage customer allocations, shorts and SKU-level supply decisions
• Connect customer demand, inventory availability, production plans and supply outcomes
• Identify and proactively manage MLOR, stock-at-risk and write-off risks
• Support phase-in and phase-out activities across the portfolio
• Bring stakeholders together around clear recommendations, decisions and actions

Your Experience

This role requires someone who is naturally proactive, commercially aware and comfortable operating in ambiguity.

While experience in Demand Planning, Demand Control, Supply Planning will provide a strong foundation, success in this role comes less from technical planning capability and more from judgement, communication and ownership.

You’ll spend your time working across Sales, Customer Service, Supply Planning and Operations, often acting as the connector between competing priorities and helping the business understand what needs attention, what action is required and what should happen next.

We're looking for someone who can:

• Make sound decisions with changing, and at times incomplete information
• Identify risks, opportunities and emerging issues before they affect service, inventory or customer outcomes
• Translate data into practical actions and recommendations
• Communicate confidently and influence a range of stakeholders
• Balance competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail
• Take ownership of issues and drive them through to resolution

You’ll bring strong working knowledge of Excel, using it to analyse information, connect the dots and support decision making. Intermediate Excel capability is essential, as the role relies heavily on data interpretation, judgement and commercial thinking rather than system-driven recommendations.
