Job summary

Genesis Minerals is seeking an experienced Senior Process Technician to join our Processing team at Mount Morgan. You’ll lead hands-on operations, support the Process Shift Supervisor, and drive safe, reliable plant performance in a high‑performing culture.

Bring 5+ years of mineral processing experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and a proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset. You’ll work on an 8/6 roster with a focus on safety and outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years mineral processing experience including Gold
• Leading Hand / Senior Process Technician experience
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
• Solutions-focused and adaptable in dynamic environments
• Time management and organisational capabilities
• Experience using MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Pronto experience will be highly regarded

Responsibilities

• Providing hands-on leadership and support to the Process Shift Supervisor and Process Technicians
• Promoting a strong safety culture and leading by example every day
• Identifying opportunities to improve plant performance, safety, recovery and cost efficiency
• Assisting with plant commissioning activities, optimisation projects and improvement initiatives
• Supporting metallurgical performance and ensuring production targets are achieved
• Mentoring and developing team members to build capability across the operation
• Ensuring all activities are conducted in an environmentally responsible and sustainable manner
• Contributing to a positive, collaborative and high-performing team culture

We’re currently seeking an experienced Senior Process Technician to join our Processing team and play a key role in supporting safe, reliable and efficient plant performance. What You’ll Be Doing:

About You

We’re looking for a driven and authentic leader who naturally puts people first while maintaining a strong focus on safety, accountability and operational results. You’ll be someone who enjoys coaching others, solving problems and creating a positive team environment where everyone can perform at their best.

To be successful, you’ll bring:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in mineral processing including Gold
• Previous experience in a Leading Hand, Senior Process Technician or similar capacity
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to adapt in a dynamic environment
• Sound time management and organisational capabilities
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
• Pronto experience will be highly regarded
