Job summary

Genesis Minerals Limited is seeking a Geology Technician for Mt Morgans, WA. This full-time role supports the exploration team with an 8/6, 7/7 roster. Work options include FIFO from Perth to Leonora, DIDO from Kalgoorlie or local residential arrangements.

Key duties include monitoring ore mining to maximise recovery and minimise dilution, recording ore mining activity, coordinating grade control, sampling, and assisting geologists and production teams as required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years employment history as Geology Technician or Pit Technician.
• Experience with different types and styles of deposits.
• Valid driver’s license (C class) required.
• Strong technical and geology software skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor ore mining to maximise recovery and minimise dilution.
• Provide accurate records of ore mining activities.
• Co-ordinate grade control activities and sampling.
• Assist mine geologists and production team with duties as needed.
• Prepare areas for mining and support pit operations.
