Job summary

Gold Fields is seeking a Senior Process Operator at the St Ives mine site in Australia. You will provide vital support to the Process Shift Supervisor, help lead the crew and offer hands-on day-to-day plant operation assistance.

You will lead safety initiatives, optimize production, and collaborate with Metallurgy and Maintenance to improve performance and data reporting. FIFO/DIDO roster applies.

Qualifications

• Senior Process Technician with significant gold processing experience.
• Uncompromising commitment to safety.
• Proven leader with coaching and mentoring skills.
• Experience with crushing, grinding, CIL/CIP, control room and gold room operation.

Responsibilities

• Support the Shift Supervisor and provide coverage when required.
• Lead by example to promote a strong safety culture.
• Operate and monitor plant equipment across processing areas.
• Coordinate daily work activities, reports and checklists.
• Liaise with Metallurgy and Maintenance to optimise performance.
• Maintain accurate production data and shift reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve team efficiency and capability.
