Job summary

Gold Fields’ St Ives mine site is seeking a Senior Process Operator to support the Process Shift Supervisor, lead by example, and provide hands-on day-to-day plant operation in a FIFO/DIDO roster.

You will operate processing equipment, coordinate daily tasks, liaise with Metallurgy and Maintenance, maintain production data, and drive safety and continuous improvement.

The role requires strong leadership, a focus on safety, and proficiency with MS Office and data reporting.

Qualifications

• Senior Process Technician with significant gold processing experience.
• Uncompromising commitment to safety.
• Proven leader who coaches and mentors others.
• Troubleshooting and problem solving in operations and leadership.
• Experience with crushing, grinding, CIL/CIP, control room and gold room operation.
• Confident and consistent communicator.
• MS Office and databases proficiency.
• Valid C Class Driver's Licence.

Responsibilities

• Support and cover the Shift Supervisor when required.
• Lead by example to promote a strong safety culture.
• Operate and monitor plant equipment across processing areas.
• Coordinate daily work activities, including unplanned tasks and reports.
• Liaise with Metallurgy and Maintenance to optimise performance and resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate production data and shift reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve team efficiency and capability.
