Gold Fields Group Services (Pty) Ltd. is seeking a Senior Process Operator at the St Ives mine site to support the Process Shift Supervisor and lead day-to-day plant operations.

The role focuses on safety, crew leadership and hands-on processing across crushing, grinding, CIL/CIP, control room and gold room operations. The successful candidate will manage daily tasks, coordinate activities with Metallurgy and Maintenance, and maintain accurate production data while driving efficiency.

Qualifications

• Senior Process Operator with gold processing experience.
• Demonstrates commitment to safety and a proactive leadership style.
• Strong coaching and mentoring abilities for team development.
• Developed troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in processing operations.

Responsibilities

• Support the Shift Supervisor and provide shift coverage when needed.
• Lead by example to promote safety and Vital Behaviours.
• Operate and monitor plant equipment across processing areas.
• Coordinate daily work, including unplanned tasks, reports and checklists.
• Collaborate with Metallurgy and Maintenance to optimise performance.
• Maintain accurate production data and shift reports.
• Identify improvements to increase team efficiency.
