Department of Education Victoria – Broadmeadows VIC invites applications for an Experienced Classroom Teacher (potential for ongoing) at Broadmeadows Primary School, just north of Melbourne. You will plan and deliver inclusive literacy and numeracy programs while supporting student wellbeing in a diverse community.

The role collaborates with on-site kindergarten staff to ensure a cohesive transition into primary education.

Formación

• Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum, including literacy and numeracy.
• Experience planning high-impact teaching strategies and evaluating learning impact.
• Experience monitoring and assessing student learning and using data to inform practice.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with collaboration across staff, parents and community.
• Commitment to Department values and ongoing professional learning.

Responsabilidades

• Direct teaching of groups of students and individual students.
• Contributing to the development, implementation and evaluation of a curriculum area or other curriculum program within the school.
• Undertaking other classroom teaching related and organisational duties as determined by the School Principal.
• Participating in activities such as parent/teacher meetings; staff meetings; camps and excursions.
• Undertaking other non-teaching supervisory duties.
