Betashares Capital in Sydney seeks a Senior Manager, PR & Communications to lead the development and delivery of defined media relations and communications activity that strengthens the company’s brand, products and investment insights across mainstream and trade media.

The role owns the PR operating rhythm, shapes strategy, campaigns and measurement with the team, and provides counsel to internal stakeholders while partnering with agencies and cross-functional groups.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in PR, communications or corporate affairs with ownership of strategy and senior stakeholder relationships.
• Ability to lead media strategy and relationships with senior journalists across major outlets.
• Strong finance/markets knowledge or ability to learn complex regulated topics quickly and translate into stories.
• Experience advising senior stakeholders, interview prep, messaging and issues management.
• Excellent writing and editing across pitches, releases, talking points and thought leadership.
• Strong planning and leadership-through-influence to manage agencies and cross-functional teams.

Responsabilités

• Lead the development and delivery of defined PR and communications plans aligned to brand, product and commercial priorities.
• Own media relationships and proactive media strategy across our investment strategy team.
• Shape clear narratives from investment, ETF, market and consumer finance themes for media readiness.
• Advise senior stakeholders and spokespeople on media approach and interview preparation.
• Lead integrated PR campaigns and thought leadership in partnership with marketing and legal teams.
• Direct day-to-day agency activity, including briefing, prioritisation and quality control.
• Set reporting rhythms and use coverage and metrics to improve PR effectiveness.
