Enemix in Melbourne is seeking a Senior/Principal Power System Engineer to join their Grid and Power Systems team. You will work across the full project lifecycle, from feasibility through to operational performance, coordinating with AEMO, NSPs and grid consultants, and supporting grid connection processes for development projects.

A strong background in inverter-based generation or storage is preferred. You'll explain complex technical concepts in clear English to internal and external

Competenze

• Tertiary qualifications in electrical or power system engineering.
• 3–10 years in a similar senior/lead role within power systems.
• Strong understanding of Australian grid frameworks (NER/NEM).
• Experience with grid connection of inverter-based generation or storage.

Mansioni

• Support grid side due diligence on new generation and storage opportunities.
• Manage grid connection processes from feasibility to commissioning.
• Build relationships with AEMO, NSPs and REZ bodies to influence network development.
• Provide technical input into connection agreement negotiations and renewals.
• Collaborate with Asset Management to optimise losses and maintenance scheduling.
