Job summary

AECOM in Sydney, Australia is seeking a Senior Power System Studies professional to deliver load flow analyses and provide technical input for renewable energy projects within a dynamic energy market.

You will work with a team across wind, solar, BESS and hydro assets, applying DigSilent PowerFactory, ETAP and PSCAD tools while liaising with clients to ensure compliant, reliable grid connections and optimized outcomes.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of power system studies or grid connection analysis.
• Experience with Renewable Energy Grid Connection works including Wind, Solar PV, Hybrid, BESS.
• Proficient with Power System tools including DigSilent PowerFactory, ETAP, PSCAD.
• Ideally knowledge of Australian regulations across States or NZ standards.
• Electrical Engineering degree, Chartered status or working towards it.

Responsibilities

• Deliver load flow studies and analysis across steady state and dynamic studies.
• Provide insight and recommendations based on robust analysis to clients and projects.
• Mentor and coach others in Power System discipline and support project delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across remote offices and diverse stakeholders.
