Job summary

Beyond Electrical Engineering (BEE) in Sydney is seeking a Grid Connections Engineer to support renewable energy and power projects through the grid connection lifecycle. You will contribute to feasibility studies, GPS development, regulatory compliance and commissioning across Australia.

The role requires 4+ years in power system analysis and renewable grid connections, with proficiency in PSCAD/PSS/E/DIgSILENT and Python.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in power system analysis and renewable grid connections in Australia.
• Proven track record leading projects from application through commissioning.
• Knowledge of National Electricity Rules (NER) and/or Wholesale Electricity Market (WEM) rules.

Responsibilities

• Grid connection applications, feasibility studies and compliance modelling per AEMO/NER/NSP.
• Develop GPS, R0–R2, DMAT and benchmarking studies ensuring NER compliance.
• Oversee testing, commissioning and validation of grid assets.
