Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join the Generation and Storage team in Australia. You will apply and develop engineering skills across wind, solar, battery storage, and hybrid projects for various clients, owners and developers.

You will contribute across project stages, prepare documents and designs, and support delivery from prefeasibility to commissioning. AECOM values collaboration and technical excellence.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated engineering experience on renewable energy projects.
• Knowledge of electrical balance of plant systems (AC/DC).
• Ability to plan and complete design work packages and studies.
• Active focus on client timelines, scopes and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering reviews, designs and technical advisory tasks.
• Support project delivery through technical verification and standards.
• Mentor graduate and early-career engineers within the local team.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary inputs for Owner's Engineer engagements.
• Maintain high standards of quality, safety and client satisfaction.
