Job summary

Calleo is seeking a Senior Power BI Developer to design and deliver reporting data models in a Federal Government context. You will integrate data from Dataverse and Data Lake, build executive dashboards, and implement a governed semantic model for self-service analytics.

Key responsibilities include performance tuning, security setup, and training sustainment teams. Strong DAX, Power Query, and SQL skills are essential in this complex environment.

Qualifications

• Senior-level Power BI experience with design of reporting data models.
• Ability to integrate and transform data from Dataverse and Data Lake environments.
• Strong technical expertise in Power BI, data modelling, Dataverse, Data Lake, DAX and Power Query.
• Experience delivering BI solutions within complex environments and governance.

Responsibilities

• Design the reporting data model from Dataverse and the Data Lake.
• Build the five standard reports and the executive dashboards.
• Set up row-level security, workspaces and a governed semantic model for self-service by business users.
• Tune performance and scheduled refresh.
• Document the model and train the business area and sustainment team.
• Strong DAX, Power Query and SQL.
• Reported from Dataverse, including through Azure Synapse Link or a data lake.
• Set up reporting so business users can build their own reports safely.
