Job summary

Embodied Corporate Solutions is seeking an experienced Engineering and Maintenance Manager based at the Fremantle Port. You will lead the maintenance department, align with the National Engineering team, and drive the strategic direction for major assets in a heavy industrial environment.

Qualifications include a tertiary Engineering degree (mechanical and/or electrical) and proven leadership in maintenance management.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering with mechanical and/or electrical focus.
• Proven experience in heavy engineering/industrial maintenance management.
• Knowledge of Contract Management processes and OH&S policies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure OH&S compliance and enhance safety culture across maintenance.
• Mentor and develop maintenance staff within heavy industrial operations.
• Manage internal and external maintenance contractors and CMMS systems.
• Drive continuous improvement of preventive maintenance processes.
• Ensure assets meet statutory and OEM requirements and are integrated with new assets.
• Lead asset management projects and contribute to national asset strategy.
• Monitor maintenance expenditure, reliability, safety and plant integrity.
• Address backlogs in maintenance work orders to minimise terminal risk.
