Job summary

Energy Corporation of NSW (EnergyCo NSW) seeks an Associate Director Policy & Regulatory to lead and coordinate policy and regulatory strategy for NSW’s Renewable Energy Zones and major infrastructure projects. This senior role shapes the regulatory framework, advises Cabinet and Ministers, and drives implementation across government, regulators and industry.

Qualifications

Tertiary qualification in law, economics, public policy or related discipline.
Experience delivering complex policy, legislative and regulatory projects in infrastructure.
Ability to translate strategy into practical policy outcomes and regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

Lead policy and regulatory strategy to deliver NSW's Renewable Energy Zones and major energy projects.
Coordinate a specialist team to provide strategic policy advice and regulatory submissions.
Prepare high-profile Cabinet, Ministerial and Board submissions and briefings.
Engage with government agencies, regulators, market bodies and industry stakeholders to navigate challenges and drive outcomes.
