Job summary

Australian Electoral Commission (AEC) is seeking a Senior Project Officer to contribute to enrolment policy development, implementation and evaluation within the Roll Operations and Silent Cell team. You will support staff responsible for enrolment processing, deliver key projects and provide clear policy guidance.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated policy advice experience in legislative or regulatory environments.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet timeframes.
• Attention to detail with high-quality output.
• Experience communicating with diverse, geographically dispersed stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to enrolment policy development, implementation and evaluation.
• Deliver key enrolment projects and policy guidance.
• Provide clear, practical policy advice to staff responsible for enrolment processing.
• Develop and maintain enrolment doctrine and guidance.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders to support high-quality outcomes.
