The AEC values and commitments are an essential component of our operating environment and frame how AEC staff work. The AEC's focus is on electoral integrity through the values of quality, agility and professionalism.
The Roll Operations and Silent Cell section is responsible for managing the operations of the Australian Electoral Roll through the development, implementation and evaluation of enrolment policies and procedures, as well as the centralised processing of silent elector enrolments.
The team oversees day-to-day enrolment matters, including maintaining procedural guidance and reference materials, and supporting capability development across state and divisional offices. The section delivers key electoral projects, including close of rolls activities for federal, state and local government elections, and the redistribution of electoral boundaries across all levels of government. This is an exciting opportunity to join the AEC and contribute to work that has a direct impact on Australia’s democratic processes.
