Job summary

The Victorian Department of Health seeks a Senior Policy Officer, Planned Surgery Reform, to contribute to the Blueprint rollout across Victoria and lead the Patient Support Unit program helping long-waiting patients navigate their planned surgery journey and same-day surgery reform.

You will build strong relationships with government and health sector stakeholders, develop policy and briefing materials for Ministerial and executive audiences, and work across multidisciplinary teams to deliver

Qualifications

• Experience in government and health sector policy.
• Policy/project management experience and implementation.
• Desirable health administration knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex policy development and project delivery on reform initiatives.
• Develop briefing products for Ministerial and senior stakeholders.
• Proactively build relationships with government and health sector bodies.
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to meet demands.
