Job summary

University of New South Wales seeks a Senior Officer, Policy & Contracts to support employability, work-integrated learning and industry engagement initiatives. You will draft and administer contracts, provide policy guidance and liaise with faculties, divisions and external partners to ensure governance and compliance.

The role reports to the Lead, Policy & Contracts within the Employability team and drives policy implementation, contract management and effective stakeholder engagement across

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification with experience or equivalent competence.
• Experience in policy administration and contract management, including drafting and coordinating documentation.
• Ability to provide professional advice within policy frameworks.
• Strong stakeholder engagement with internal and external partners.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including reports and briefs.
• Proven organisational ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional advice on policy, process and contractual matters related to employability and industry engagement.
• Coordinate drafting, review, amending and negotiation of contracts and related documents.
• Interpret and implement legislative, regulatory and institutional policy requirements.
• Project manage system reviews and new system development, coordinating with stakeholders for consultation and implementation.
