Job summary

Northsix is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead delivery of steel structures and erection projects across Victoria. You will oversee a team of engineers and project staff, guiding them from site to workshop interfaces while maintaining strong builder relationships to drive growth.

You will work closely with Directors on strategy and tenders, with a clear pathway into a State Manager, Engineering role. A background in steel structures and site erection is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in steel structures and erection is essential.
• Proven experience leading engineering or project teams, including managers.
• Strong background across structural steel fabrication and site erection.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and cost control.
• 10+ years in engineering, construction or infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and mentor a team of engineers and project staff.
• Guide delivery of steel structures and erection works to keep projects on track.
• Provide technical leadership on structural steel and installation methods.
• Maintain builder relationships and develop new partnerships.
• Manage strategy, tenders, and business growth with Directors.
• Accountable for safety, quality, cost and program across projects.
• Oversee budgets, forecasting and P&L for projects.
