Job summary

We are a Sydney-based structural steel fabricator and erector seeking a Junior PM or Graduate to join our small management team. You will work between the head office and site, supporting off-site workshop and on-site install progress while liaising with tier 1 and 2 builders.

Ideal candidates will have a foundation in building practices, proficiency with MS Office, strong communication skills, a full Australian driver's licence and a White Card.

Qualifications

• Understanding of general building practices.
• Proficient in MS Office suite.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Hold a valid Full Australian Driver Licence.
• White Card (construction induction).
• PM/Construction Management qualification or similar.

Responsibilities

• Daily communication with off-site workshop and on-site install crews and main contractor project engineers
• Assist in the production of High-risk Work packages
• Report daily to the PM and provide required assistance
• Monitor on-site activities and ensure delivery of goods and consumables to keep site production high
• Attend weekly site subcontract meetings across construction sites
• Maintain OHS and QA standards
• Organise site teams, equipment, plant and materials for site needs

We are a well known Structural Steel fabricator & erector in the Sydney commercial building market. We are renowned for providing an excellent service to mainly tier 1 clients for doing whatever it takes to get the job done. We are fast paced, diverse and don't hold back on delivering expectations.

Located in Western Sydney within 25km of the CBD our workshop facility and main offices sit on 6,000m2 and comprises of a large workshop capable of delivering large and small scale projects simultaneously. After some sustained growth, we are looking for a Junior PM or Graduate looking to gain valuable expertise and mentorship and join our small management team to maintain the delivery of key projects to our clients.

You will be exposed to tier 1 and 2 builders/contractors and thus will provide valuable experience to your career.

Working under an experienced PM your role will be based between the main offices and site. You will provide all necessary support to maintain off site works and on site install progress.

Qualifications & experience

Skilled in all MS packages

Excellent communication and people skills

Full Drivers Licence
