Job summary

C2 Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Building Engineering Services to lead delivery of critical facilities projects across telecommunications and data-centre environments in Queensland. You’ll manage end-to-end projects, coordinating building services, electrical and mechanical works with contractors and internal stakeholders.

This role focuses on safety, quality and on-time delivery within budget.

Qualifications

• A degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5+ years’ experience in project delivery, building services or critical infrastructure.
• Experience across electrical, mechanical, HVAC, data-centre or facilities infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of construction practices and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver building engineering services projects from scope through to completion.
• Coordinate projects involving AC power infrastructure, fire detection and protection, building works and emergency power systems.
• Lead project planning, reporting, financial controls, procurement and vendor performance.
• Review scopes, designs and quotations to ensure compliance, quality and value.
• Develop feasibility studies, business cases, project briefs and delivery plans.
• Monitor contractor performance, safety, quality, schedule and budget outcomes.

C2 is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Building Engineering Services to lead the delivery of critical facilities projects across telecommunications and data-centre environments.

You’ll manage end-to-end projects that protect network reliability, safety and performance—working across building infrastructure, specialist contractors, internal stakeholders and technical teams.

What you’ll do

• Deliver building engineering services projects from scope through to completion
• Coordinate projects involving AC power infrastructure, fire detection and protection, building works and emergency power systems
• Lead project planning, reporting, financial controls, procurement and vendor performance
• Review scopes, designs and quotations to ensure compliance, quality and value
• Develop feasibility studies, business cases, project briefs and delivery plans
• Monitor contractor performance, safety, quality, schedule and budget outcomes
• Build strong working relationships with planners, technical specialists, contractors, consultants and project stakeholders.

What you’ll bring

• A degree in Engineering or a related discipline
• Around 5+ years’ experience in project delivery, building services, construction management or critical infrastructure
• Experience working across electrical, mechanical, HVAC, data-centre or facilities infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of construction practices, regulatory requirements and compliance obligations
• Proven capability in contractor and vendor management, project controls, budgeting and stakeholder engagement
• A track record of delivering complex projects safely, on time and within budget
• Telecommunications, network facilities or data-centre experience will be highly regarded.
