A growing digital infrastructure business is expanding its data centre division and is looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager. Multiple hires are planned over the next 12 months, with an immediate requirement currently available.
You’ll manage the delivery of large-scale data centre projects, overseeing site teams, subcontractors, technical delivery, timelines and commercial outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing projects from planning through to completion
Leading larger site and delivery teams
Managing budgets, costs, variations and project financials
Coordinating contractors, trades and key stakeholders
Ensuring technical, quality, safety and project requirements are met
Managing programme, reporting, risks and client expectations
Providing practical leadership across on-site delivery
The ideal candidate will have:
Proven Project Management experience within data centres
Experience working for a data centre contractor or specialist trade business
Strong commercial and financial management skills
Experience managing larger delivery teams
Solid technical and practical understanding of data centre environments
A background in tools, trades, technical delivery, site management or similar is highly valued
Candidates who have progressed from a hands-on technical or Site Management background into Project Management are encouraged to apply.
Important: Direct data centre contracting experience is a key requirement. Candidates whose experience is primarily within NBN or telecommunications environments are less aligned.
