Job summary

RecruitShop is seeking an experienced plastering professional to lead senior plasterboard fixing and setting on high-end residential projects across Sydney’s Northern Beaches, North Shore and Eastern Suburbs. You’ll work with a collaborative team while delivering premium finishes and maintaining strong client relations.

You will bring extensive plastering experience, a trade qualification, a White Card, and a valid driver’s licence with reliable transport.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on plasterboard fixing and setting experience across high-end residential projects.
• Strong ability to work independently within an established team and meet finish quality standards.
• Trade qualification in plastering and a current White Card are required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver plasterboard fixing and setting on high-end residential projects.
• Manage your own projects and liaise directly with clients.
• Perform square set finishes and detailed high-end residential work.
• Do wet-area linings and fire-rated work when required.
• Assist with suspended ceilings, steel framing and bulkheads.
• Install cornices, mouldings and feature walls.

About The Opportunity

The primary purpose of this position is to deliver senior-level plasterboard fixing and setting, suspended ceilings, steel framing, bulkheads, square set and detailed high-end residential finishes, while contributing to a collaborative and professional team environment.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Plasterboard fixing and setting across high-end residential projects
• Managing your own projects and liaising directly with clients
• Square set finishes and detailed high-end residential work
• Wet-area linings and fire-rated work where required
• Suspended ceilings, steel framing and bulkheads

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• Extensive hands-on experience across plasterboard fixing and setting, suspended ceilings, steel framing, bulkheads and square set
• The ability to work independently while remaining reliable, professional and comfortable within an established team
• A strong background in high-end residential work and pride in finish quality
• A trade qualification in plastering and a current White Card
• A current driver's licence and reliable transport
