Job summary

Edge Plaster Linings is offering the position of an Apprentice Plasterer to join our team of skilled professionals with over 25 years experience.

You will receive on-the-job training along with training from a Registered Training Organisation to become a qualified Plasterer with a Certificate III in Wall and Ceiling Linings. Feel supported with mentorship and guidance from experienced professionals in residential, commercial, renovations, insurance and maintenance plastering.

Qualifications

• Driver's licence and reliable vehicle.
• NSW White Card.
• Will ingness to learn.
• Australian citizen or permanent resident eligible.

Skills to be learned:

• Fix plasterboard wall and ceiling sheets
• Fix wet area sheets
• Plan, measure and cut
• Use of power tools
• Finish plasterboard joins manually and mechanically
• Construct and install bulkheads, plaster, cornice and decorative features
• Apply basic levelling procedures
• Read and interpret plans and specifications
• Assist in the setup and clean up of worksites
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients

Requirements:

• Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle
• NSW White Card
• Willingness to learn
• Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident be eligible for this position
