Job summary

The role reports to Operations Management and ensures plant, equipment, facilities and infrastructure are maintained safely and reliably to support uninterrupted performance.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in a suitable maintenance discipline.
• Proven experience leading maintenance teams and contractors.
• Strong planning, problem-solving and safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and coordinate preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance.
• Respond promptly to equipment failures to minimise downtime.
• Ensure maintenance work complies with safety procedures and permits.
• Inspect equipment and facilities for defects and risks.
• Manage external contractors and ensure proper inductions and permits.
• Monitor spares, parts, and procurement to support inventory control.
• Collaborate with Operations, Safety and Quality to minimise disruptions.
• Lead by example to promote a positive safety culture.
• Provide technical advice on equipment condition and capital improvement opportunities.
• Participate in site improvement projects as required.
