Job summary

Ausenco, a dynamic engineering and project delivery firm, is seeking a Lead Planner in Perth to drive the planning and scheduling function from study phases through project execution. You will establish schedules, coordinate with discipline leads and vendors, and integrate scope changes into baselines to ensure successful delivery across mining and resources projects.

The role requires expertise in Primavera P6 and MS Project, strong stakeholder management, and construction sequencing knowledge.

Qualifications

• Career in project controls/planning and scheduling in mining/resources sectors.
• Strong stakeholder management across multiple customers and priorities.
• Experience with scheduling software and developing execution baselines.

Responsibilities

• Establish and manage the project schedule across study phases to execution.
• Provide plan vs actual reporting inputs and forecast mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate interactive planning sessions with discipline leads, vendors and third parties.
• Apply resource loading to develop staffing plans.
• Develop activity coding for reporting layouts and discipline-level reporting.
• Identify and report on critical paths; update baselines for approved changes.
• Contribute to Project Controls Plans and provide scheduling input as required.
• Develop Project Execution Schedules for PFS, DFS and FEED studies with Basis of Schedule.
