Job summary

The Lead Planner role is Perth-based with travel to site as required, responsible for developing and controlling the integrated project schedule across engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning. The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on scheduling capability, ownership mindset and experience in brownfields or greenfields mining projects.

Qualifications

• Five+ years planning and scheduling experience in mining, resources, infrastructure or major capital projects.
• Lead Planner or Senior Planner with independent schedule development and control.
• Experience building baseline schedules from scope, WBS and delivery strategy.
• Advanced Primavera P6 capability.
• Strong schedule logic, CP analysis, float, progress and forecasting.
• Experience integrating engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning schedules.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain the integrated project schedule across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover.
• Develop a robust baseline schedule with clear critical-path activities, milestones, interfaces and delivery risks.
• Ensure planning inputs are accurate, integrated and aligned with delivery strategy.
• Collaborate with project management, engineering, commercial, site and contractors to maintain schedule integrity.
