Job summary

Ausenco is recruiting a Lead Planner to join our Perth team, driving the Planning & Scheduling function across study to project execution. The role suits someone with strong engineering consulting or site project delivery experience in minerals and resources sectors.

You will establish project schedules, report on plan vs actuals, and support critical-path analyses while coordinating with discipline leads, vendors, and clients. Perth-based, with opportunities to influence projects globally.

Qualifications

• Experience leading planning and scheduling for complex projects, preferably mining or resources.
• Ability to drive planning across study to execution phases with strong reporting.
• Proven collaboration with discipline leads, vendors, and client teams.

Responsibilities

• Establish and manage the project schedule for study and project phases.
• Provide plan vs actual reporting and forecast mitigation inputs.
• Facilitate interactive planning sessions with discipline leads, vendors and third parties.
• Apply resource loading for staffing plans.
• Develop activity coding for reporting layouts and discipline-level reporting.
• Establish and monitor critical paths and incorporate changes into baselines.
• Contribute to Project Controls plans with planning input.
• Develop project execution schedules for DFS/FEED studies with Basis of Schedule documentation.
