Job summary

Ausenco is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our Adelaide team, leading multidisciplinary engineering activities within mining and minerals projects and ensuring safe, high-quality delivery on scope, schedule and budget.

You will coordinate work packages, manage interfaces, monitor progress with earned value management, and drive forecasting and reporting to support project decisions. The role requires a degree in engineering and 12+ years' experience, with EPCM exposure valued.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical or Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 12 years' experience delivering mining/minerals studies or projects.
• Proven experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams and deliverables.
• Strong project controls capability: scheduling, cost management, forecasting and reporting.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6, MS Project, Power BI and Excel.
• EPCM/EPC experience with contractor supervision and exposure to mineral processing plants.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities within project scope, schedule and budget.
• Define and manage engineering work packages, scopes, deliverables and budgets.
• Monitor progress using earned value management, KPIs and baselines.
• Drive forecasting, risk identification, change management and performance reporting.
• Coordinate resources, subcontractors and disciplines to achieve milestones.
• Identify and implement improvements to processes and delivery efficiency.
