Job summary

UGL Pty Limited is seeking an experienced Project Planner to join our fuels and energy portfolio in Australia. You will develop and maintain complex project schedules, analyse critical paths, and provide insights to project managers and engineers across terminals, storage facilities, and refurbishment programs.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, manage schedule risks, report progress to stakeholders, and support asset lifecycle activities from concept through commissioning.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in portfolio planning & scheduling role.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and schedule analysis.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication.
• Knowledge of project delivery methodologies, risk management and schedule recovery strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain complex project schedules for fuels & energy projects.
• Analyse schedules, identify critical paths and provide actionable insights to project teams.
• Engage and influence stakeholders across project managers, engenharia teams and contractors.
• Translate project data into clear reports for project and business leaders.

As our Fuels & Energy East business continues to grow, we are inviting Project Planners interested in expanding their experience across the bulk storage, fuels, refining and terminal infrastructure sectors. This is an opportunity to become part of a highly experienced team delivering solutions for some of Australia's most critical assets. You will gain exposure to a diverse portfolio of fuel terminals, storage facilities, refining infrastructure, brownfield modifications, asset integrity programs, capital projects and operational support activities. You'll work alongside industry experts and develop valuable experience across the full asset lifecycle, from concept and design through to procurement, construction and commissioning.

About you

• 5+ Years in equivalent Portfolio Planning & Scheduling role.
• Primavera P6 proficiency, with strong expertise in developing, analysing and maintaining complex project schedules.
• Strong understanding of project delivery methodologies, critical path analysis, risk management, resource planning, and schedule recovery strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, working collaboratively with project managers, engineering teams, contractors and operational personnel.
• Highly analytical with excellent problem-solving, communication and reporting skills, capable of translating complex project data into actionable insights for project and business leaders.
