Job summary

UGL's Resources & Energy West is seeking an experienced Senior Planner to support the bp Kwinana Energy Hub. You will manage planning, scheduling, forecasting and performance reporting across a portfolio of capital projects, turnarounds and campaigns, delivering Brownfield projects in a major energy asset.

Reporting to the Project Controls Lead, you will develop and maintain Primavera P6 schedules, coordinate data for integrated reporting, and work with project teams and client stakeholders to

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in project planning and scheduling using Primavera P6 in Oil & Gas, Energy, Resources, Mining or Defence.
  • Strong understanding of project controls, critical path methodology, schedule analysis and forecasting techniques.
  • Experience managing complex, multi-discipline schedules across engineering, procurement and construction activities.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience in brownfield environments and knowledge of SAP and/or Power BI will be highly regarded

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate schedule, cost, progress and resource data to support integrated project controls reporting and performance visibility
  • Analyse schedule performance, critical path activities, earned value metrics and forecasts to support project decision-making.
  • Partner closely with project managers, engineers, supervisors and client stakeholders to ensure accurate progress reporting and schedule forecasts.
  • Identify schedule risks, delays and recovery opportunities while supporting mitigation planning and continuous improvement initiatives.

About the role

Key Responsibilities
