Job summary

Lycopodium Limited is seeking a Senior Mechanical/Piping Designer to join our Perth based team. You will support the piping design group, ensure schedules and budgets are met, and deliver high quality plant layout drawings in line with industry standards.

With experience in mineral processing facilities and familiarity with OpenPlant, Modeller and PID, you will collaborate with clients and vendors and contribute to safe, efficient project execution.

Qualifications

• 6+ years’ experience in Design/Drafting in relevant industry
• Piping design experience in mineral processing plants
• Experience in OpenPlant, Modeller and PID
• Experience in gold, base metals and iron ore advantageous

Responsibilities

• Provide professional support to the piping design team in the preparation of project deliverables.
• Ensure project schedules and man-hour budgets are met for areas of assigned work.
• Demonstrate understanding of fabrication and construction techniques in the materials handling industry.
• Produce company and industry standard models and design drawings from design engineer calculations and sketches.
