Brisbane City Council is seeking a Senior Engineering Technical Officer to deliver high-level engineering expertise for complex road corridor and footways permit applications. You will lead technical assessments, ensure compliance with legislation and policies, and support safe, customer-focused outcomes.

You will provide technical leadership, quality assurance, and coaching across the team, building capability and improving decision-making and service delivery.

Formación

• Experience applying engineering principles to road works and transport projects.
• Ability to manage high work volumes with competing priorities and handle confidential information.
• Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and written/oral communication skills.
• Understanding of relevant legislation and Council policies.
• Proficiency with commonly used computer systems and software.
