Job summary

Northern Beaches Hospital is seeking an experienced Perioperative Nurse Manager to join our team. This permanent full-time role leads perioperative services across the operating theatres, anaesthetic, PACU, scrub scout and DOSA teams to deliver high-quality surgical care.

The role requires current AHPRA registration, postgraduate health qualification, and recent perioperative management experience in an acute hospital.

Qualifications

• Current registration with AHPRA and postgraduate health qualifications.
• Recent perioperative management experience in an acute hospital.
• Ability to lead quality improvement activities and meet accreditation standards.
• Experience with staffing models, resource allocation, and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead perioperative services including interventional suite and OSU teams.
• Oversee daily operations of the operating theatre environment.
• Support workforce planning, development, and appropriate skill mix.
• Drive quality improvement and maintain accreditation standards.
• Engage with governance processes and safety/ infection control.
