Job summary

Monash Health in Dandenong, VIC is seeking an experienced Perioperative Nurse Manager to provide clinical and operational leadership to our 8-theatre Operating Suite at Dandenong Hospital. You will lead a skilled team across specialties including major orthopaedic trauma, colorectal surgery, head and neck procedures, and general surgery.

You must have current AHPRA registration as a RN (Division 1) with extensive perioperative nursing experience and proven leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical and operational performance across the Operating Suite.
• Drive safe, high-quality patient care, efficiency and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anaesthetists and multidisciplinary teams to optimise theatre utilisation and patient flow.
• Oversee workforce planning, recruitment, staff development and performance.
• Foster a positive, inclusive and high-performing team culture.
