Qualifications

• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse (Division 1).
• Extensive post-registration nursing experience relevant to Perioperative Nursing.
• Proven leadership and management skills with ability to guide a clinical team.
• Experience implementing changes to improve clinical service delivery and models of care.
• Strong written and verbal communication and computer literacy (Microsoft Applications, Surginet, RostER).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient services and clinical nursing management within the Perioperative Unit.
• Provide guidance to develop less experienced staff and team members.
• Assess, plan, organise, evaluate and deliver quality nursing care for each patient.
• Support safety culture and effective communication with patients and healthcare teams.
