Job summary

The role focuses on API performance testing, identifying bottlenecks, and delivering detailed reports with actionable recommendations. SmartBear tools experience is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience in performance testing.
• API testing and API performance testing expertise.
• Experience creating Performance Test Plans and Strategies.
• Ability to define workload models, performance scenarios, objectives and KPIs.
• Hands-on with SmartBear tools and other load testing suites.

Responsibilities

• Develop Performance Test Plans, including objectives, scope, workload models, test scenarios, entry/exit criteria, environments, test data, risks, and reporting requirements.
• Define and implement performance test strategies aligned with architecture and business needs.
• Design and execute performance, load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests.
• Create performance test scripts for web apps and REST/API services.
• Analyse results to identify bottlenecks across app, API, database, and network layers.
• Produce detailed reports with findings, trends, and recommendations.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, DevOps, and infrastructure to resolve issues.
• Support performance testing across environments and releases; integrate tests into CI/CD where applicable.
