Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited is seeking a Performance Testing Engineer to design and execute performance test strategies, develop scripts with Gatling/JMeter, and analyse bottlenecks across the stack. Job description

• Design, build, and execute performance test strategies andtest plans.
• Develop and maintain performance test scripts usingGatling and JMeter.
• Analyse application, infrastructure, and databaseperformance bottlenecks.
• Monitor system behaviour using APM tools such as Dynatraceand AppDynamics.
• Investigate performance issues and provide tuningrecommendations.
• Create automated performance testing solutions andintegrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop utility scripts and automation using Python andShell Scripting.
• Produce performance test reports with clearrecommendations and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with Developers, Architects, BusinessAnalysts, and Test Teams to ensure performance requirements are understood andvalidated.
• Support performance testing activities across multipleprojects and environments.

Mandatory Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in Performance Testing /Performance Engineering.
• Hands-on expertise with Gatling and/or JMeter.
• Strong experience with APM and monitoring tools:
  • Dynatrace
  • AppDynamics
• Strong scripting skills in:
  • Python
• Experience analysing performance metrics including:
  • Response times
  • Throughput
• Experience identifying and troubleshootingperformance bottlenecks across application, middleware, database, andinfrastructure layers.
