Job summary

NCS Australia is seeking an experienced PeopleSoft/Oracle Developer to join a critical enterprise program in Sydney. You will design, develop, and optimize core PeopleSoft modules, combining PeopleTools and PeopleCode with Oracle tuning to ensure system stability and high performance.

Key responsibilities include developing customized PeopleSoft features, performing SQL/PL-SQL performance analysis, and supporting data integration across the Oracle/PeopleSoft stack.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a PeopleSoft Applications Developer in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Minimum 3 years’ hands-on Oracle database development (Oracle 12c or higher), including SQL/PL-SQL performance analysis.
• At least 5 years’ dedicated experience with PeopleCode and PeopleTools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, unit test, and document customized PeopleSoft application features and modules.
• Conduct performance analysis, query tuning, index optimization, and troubleshooting on Oracle databases.
• Review technical specs, troubleshoot batch/online processes, and adhere to best-practice development standards.
• Develop and maintain business logic, custom components, pages, and integrations using PeopleTools and PeopleCode.
• Support data integration pipelines, interfaces, and system uplift activities across the Oracle/PeopleSoft landscape.
