Job summary

Talent in Australia is seeking a Senior PeopleSoft Administrator to own and evolve an established PeopleSoft environment. The role focuses on stabilizing and enhancing infrastructure, with a drive to develop long-term technical strategies and remediation roadmaps.

You will assess current environments, implement monitoring, and coordinate patches, upgrades, and potential cloud migrations to OCI, ensuring reliability and scalable operations.

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of hands-on PeopleSoft administration experience.
• Strong knowledge of PeopleTools and PeopleSoft architecture.
• Experience configuring WebServer, AppServer and Process Scheduler domains.
• Practical experience with PeopleSoft Data Mover.
• Ability to assess complex environments and develop remediation strategies.
• Experience designing logging, monitoring and proactive alerting solutions.
• Self-directed with ownership mindset.
• Willingness to contribute to cloud migration planning (OCI).

Responsibilities

• Conduct a comprehensive technical assessment of existing PeopleSoft environments.
• Develop and execute a remediation roadmap to improve stability and performance.
• Design and maintain proactive system monitoring, logging and alerting.
• Establish structured patching schedules and upgrade strategies.
• Manage PUM images and lifecycle activities for environments.
• Review and optimize WebServer, AppServer and Process Scheduler configurations.
• Diagnose complex issues and implement sustainable technical solutions.
• Contribute technical input for potential OCI cloud migration planning.
