Job summary

Randstad HR Partners is recruiting a Senior People Operations Specialist for a 6-month temporary assignment with a market-leading APAC technology infrastructure business. Based in Sydney, you will join a dynamic People & Culture team, driving process efficiency, systems optimization, and APAC operational excellence.

You will lead end-to-end employee lifecycle improvements, administer HR tech (BambooHR, SuccessFactors, Jira, HireRight), and support complex mobility and relocations while mentoring

Qualifications

• 5+ years in People Operations or similar
• Experience with HRIS administration and migrations is a plus
• Demonstrated discretion with sensitive employee matters
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability for quick notice
• Experience in a shared services environment preferred

Job description

We are currently recruiting a Senior People Operations Specialist on behalf of a market-leading APAC technology infrastructure business for a 6-month temporary assignment. Sitting within a dynamic People & Culture team, this contract focuses on driving immediate process efficiency, systems optimization, and supporting APAC operational excellence.

What You'll Be Doing

• Managing the end-to-end employee lifecycle, driving continuous improvement in talent acquisition and onboarding.

• Serving as hands-on administrator across the HR tech ecosystem (BambooHR, SuccessFactors, Jira, HireRight, etc.).

• Leading data governance and compliance audits across APAC operations.

• Supporting complex employee cases, including global mobility, cross-border relocations, and structural updates.

• Acting as an escalation lead and mentor for junior People Ops Coordinators.

Candidate Profile

• 5+ years in People Operations, with a proven track record in contract or fast-paced project roles.

• Strong background in HRIS administration (implementation/migration experience is a distinct advantage).

• Proven experience handling sensitive employee matters with complete discretion.

• Excellent stakeholder management skills and short-notice availability.

• Prior experience working in a shared services environment.
